Introducing the brand-new King Cobra Duct Rods and Frames, with ‘quick change’ cartridges for ease of repair and flexibility for different length applications.

 

The new “Quick Change” King Cobra Duct Rods and Frames, unlike conventional duct rods, utilises a Patented quick release locking system on the cartridge, like that used on many bicycles, which allows for a fully loaded cartridge to be removed and replaced within seconds. 

 

This Patented feature allows the operator to simply change to a different length of rod, whilst maintaining the same frame, reducing cost and increasing safety for the operator.

In addition, the King Cobra Duct Rods and Frames provide a sustainable, quick and safe way to simply repair broken cobra rods without the need to reload new rod on the existing cartridge, which when done in site conditions can be difficult and dangerous to the operators.

The King Cobra Duct Rods and Frames range represents a faster and more economical solution than traditional screw together duct rods and are an ideal and fast way of installing draw ropes and winch ropes into ducts ready for cable pulling operations.

​

The King Cobra Duct Rods and Frames are available in standard diameters of 4.5mm, 6mm, 9mm, 11mm and 14mm and a range of lengths from 40 to 500 metres to suit most applications.

The finished units are supplied in heavy gauge zinc plated steel frames and use high quality EU manufactured coated fibreglass rod which is of helically wound reinforced construction providing excellent bending elasticity making them ideal for short or long installations into most ducts.

​

The 4.5mm and 6mm units are free standing whilst the heavier 9mm, 11mm and 14mm units are supplied with wheels for mobility and ease of use. The 14mm version also features a swept handle and lifting bars for easy of handling.
